About Me

We’re all “adulting”….(arguably… lol)… but your version will not look like anyone else’s.

No one can see the world from your perspective…

This is my mixed media art kit shop!

I curate themed art boxes with recycled, scrapped, and donated items to create a point of focus. As a costume designer and artist, I have used mixed media to vision board upcoming projects, find new color and texture combinations, and redesign the mood of my home. However, with both professional and creative careers, I found myself getting lost in the idea of work, the daily grind. Even my creative projects were for someone else’s timeline. I started to find my value in what I produced for others… until…

I sat staring at my workspace… thinking of all the things that I had and had not created…. The ideas that I still hadn’t worked on recently were the ideas I came up with for myself.

Now, I am incredibly proud of the shows that I have designed and every piece that I created. All of the things that I have made were always “of me”, however it had been a while since I created something for me. It had been a while since I had been able to experience ideas flow unrestrained by deadline…

I looked over to my scraps corner. It contained fabric remnants of actors connecting with their characters through costume, pages from scripts that had been edited to perfection, and fun notions that I held on to Just-in-case. So, I created.

Adulting support and good vibes for whatever life throws at you!

I created these art boxes to redirect.

Redirect the idea that you are what you produce. What you produce is an expression of you.

Shift away from the concept of concrete solutions. While they are necessary at times, invite variable solutions with creativity to be able to access out-of-the-box thinking when necessary.

Escape the idea that success is measured solely by societal standards. Embrace the notion that success is multifaceted and deeply personal, defined by fulfillment, growth, and authenticity.

Reject the pressure to conform to conventional paths and embrace the freedom to forge your own unique journey. Remember that your worth is not determined by external validation or material possessions, but by the depth of your experiences, the richness of your relationships, and the authenticity of your self-expression.

When the world prioritizes productivity over humanity, dare to prioritize your well-being, your passions, and your innermost desires. Embrace the idea that true fulfillment comes from living a life aligned with your values, your passions, and your truest self.
